The Web Lights Sound Track.

I've began working with a great musician named Greg Ryan, who I first met through my friend Mahmoud Hindawi, as he originally worked on the soundtrack for his MA animation film. Greg has agreed to have a go at creating the theme tune to my film based on some notes that I have given him. This is bound to be a difficult task, mainly due to the fact that I am very attached to the current music that I have for the animatic. However, I need different music because I do not have the rights to this.

Greg has sent me something over today, which I am very impressed with. It is a little bit fast at the moment but it is a great starting point. Greg was given some very loose notes to begin with, I asked him to create a childlike theme music and referred him to the piece 'In the Hall of the Mountain King', as a starting point which is the Alton Towers theme music. I referred him to this, because of it's playful charm and spooky composition at the start of the piece. He has made a great effort to interpret my needs and has in fact produced exactly what I had asked for specifically. Top man...
